Padel JKL, a specialized padel club founded in 2016, has been a satisfied user of Suomisport since 2020. The club has adopted Suomisport’s services step by step—starting with the membership register and later expanding its use to payments, communication, and registrations for training sessions and events.
Padel has grown significantly in popularity in recent years, bringing many new members to Padel JKL as well. Currently, the club runs eight active training groups and also offers various events and competitions for players of all skill levels.
Suomisport streamlines the club’s payment processes
Padel JKL’s chairman, Juuso Vehviläinen, says that Suomisport has made it especially easy to track the club’s financial transactions.
– Before switching to Suomisport, we maintained our membership register in an Excel file and sent invoices manually via email. Moving to Suomisport has saved us countless working hours, as we no longer have to worry about payment processing—everything is now handled automatically through Suomisport.
Another advantage is that Padel JKL has created different groups within Suomisport, allowing invoices or announcements to be sent to a specific training group all at once. Alternatively, membership fees can be billed simultaneously to all club members. Not all payments require invoicing afterward either—participants can also pay for events or competitions directly when signing up.
New members are smoothly integrated into Padel JKL
Vehviläinen particularly praises Suomisport for making it easy to add new members to the system. As padel’s popularity continues to grow, new players are regularly joining the club.
– Our operations are constantly expanding, and new members are joining Padel JKL on a regular basis. Becoming a member is very simple for both the players and the club, as Suomisport’s features are highly user-friendly.
– Suomisport also automatically sends a welcome message to each new member, which includes important instructions and links for beginners. This ensures that new players quickly get familiar with how the club operates and the benefits available to members, Vehviläinen explains.
Despite some initial hesitation, the change has received positive feedback
Nowadays, a large portion of the club’s communication is also managed through Suomisport. However, WhatsApp groups are still used to quickly reach members when needed.
– At first, some members were hesitant about switching from WhatsApp to Suomisport for training registrations—it’s common for people to take some time to adapt to new ways of working. However, after implementation, we have received a lot of positive feedback about the platform change, Vehviläinen summarizes.
– Personally, I find the Suomisport mobile app particularly easy and fast to use in everyday life — which is why I have warmly recommended it to everyone involved in the club.
