Suomisport’s pricing is completely transparent!
Suomisport charges a service fee only for the payments your club actually receives via the payment functions. The service is free to start using, including support and guidance. There are no annual, monthly, or other fees.
The service fee is charged only for paid events that have generated revenue for the club.
The fee is divided between Suomisport and the payment service provider as follows:
- Service fee (Suomisport): 0.97 EUR / payment
- Payment method fee (Svea Payments): varies based on the payment method chosen by the user.

The service fee is automatically deducted from the payments transferred to your club. This cost is good to consider when setting prices.
The service fee is used to develop and maintain Suomisport. By using Suomisport, your club also supports Finnish sports!
Event registrations and Sporttihaku without payment functions are completely free.
Example 1:
A club member pays the annual membership fee of 35 € via Suomisport using online banking.
Suomisport’s service fee (0.97 €) + payment method fee (0.35 €) = total service fee 1.32 €.
The club receives via Svea: 35 € – 1.32 € = 33.68 €.
Svea transfers the club’s funds in full to the club’s bank account as a single sum, according to the payment service agreement period, with the service fee already deducted. The club receives the money regardless of the member’s payment method, saving on bank service fees, for example.
Example 2:
The club creates a summer camp in Sporttihaku using Suomisport’s event management. Registrations for the summer camp are collected via the event. No payment functions are enabled for the event.
Using the event management is completely free for the club.

You can log in to Suomisport via the Log in button on this page or by downloading the convenient Suomisport mobile app.
If you haven’t logged in before, you need to create your own personal Sport account by providing the requested personal information. If you are managing matters for your child or a dependent, create your own Sport account first and then an account for your child.
A Sports account is each person’s unique sports profile and user account in Suomisport services.
With just one account, your information stays up to date without duplicate accounts, regardless of your sport or club.
You always need a Sports account to use the service.
Guardians must also have their own account when managing matters for their dependents.
You can access your children’s Sports accounts through your own profile.
We ensure that your information remains secure, and you can always review it yourself.
On your Sports account, you will find:
- Your own and your entire family’s information
- Your club’s memberships and digital membership cards
- Your club’s calendars for groups and teams
- Your club’s up-to-date payments and receipts
- Your sport’s licenses, player passes, merits, and sports insurance
- Registration details for different events
In addition:
- You can purchase services and register for events.
- You can access your dependents’ Sports accounts and edit their information.
- You can link your children’s Sports accounts under the parent’s account.
Sports-ID is your personal sports identification number, which can be found on your Sports account.
When you create a Sports account, you are assigned a Sports-ID, which remains the same throughout your life. You will have only one Sports account and one Sports-ID.
With Sports-ID, Suomisport identifies and distinguishes service users. It allows athletes and participants to be recognized, for example, at competition venues and other events. Sports-ID data is used in various results, statistics, and competition systems.
Sports-ID is not a login or user ID for the service.
In Suomisport, you can pay for sports services using your preferred payment method.
In the Payments section of your Sports account, you can find up-to-date information about season and membership fees assigned to you or your dependent by your club. Event fees can be paid directly at the time of registration. Licenses, player passes, and insurance for your sport can be purchased immediately in the Buy license section – even from the sidelines.
Suomisport allows you to pay with all common payment methods, from online banking to mobile payments – just like in online stores.
Payment methods provided by Svea Payments:
- Online banking (Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, etc.)
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard)
- MobilePay and Siirto
- Svea Invoice and Svea Installment
In Suomisport, both you and your dependent child can have only one personal Sports account.
If the service notifies you that an account already exists, first check whether the other guardian has created the account.A child’s account can be linked within the family by logging into your Sports account and navigating to the child’s account. You can add another guardian to the child’s Sports account under the Edit information section.
How to get a license or player pass for your sport
Suomisport offers licenses and player passes for over 150 different sports.
Licenses and player passes are products of sports federations and grant you, as an athlete or participant, the right to compete and take part in activities within your sport.
