More effective communication with organizations

The email features requested by clubs have now been expanded and are available to all clubs that have activated Suomisport. With this update, club users and team and group managers can easily send messages directly to participants’ email addresses or exclusively to the Suomisport application.

Going forward, communication will be handled seamlessly from a single platform: messages are sent effortlessly to both email and the app, and the sender can choose the channel that works best for them. This is especially convenient in urgent situations when the message is sent directly from the Suomisport app to email.

What does the reform mean in practice?

Messages get through more effectively

• A club administrator can send a message to the entire club with a single click.
• The team or group manager can easily reach their own group and the parents.
• The same message is sent simultaneously to both email and the app.

Improved readability and clarity

• The new messaging feature includes a versatile text editor and adds the club’s logo to messages.
• You can format your messages, add links to them, and make them even clearer and more appealing.

Effective notifications

• All club messages are sent as notifications to the Suomisport mobile app. Members are encouraged to use the app regularly and enable notifications so that important messages, payment reminders, and event changes are not missed.

Apple Pay makes payments faster

Paying at Suomisport will become even easier in June, when Apple Pay becomes available to everyone at the Suomisport checkout. This new payment method allows for fast and secure payments in just a few seconds.

Apple Pay works for all Suomisport payments, for example:

• in licenses
• in player passes
• the club’s payments

For clubs and sports federations, the costs for Apple Pay are the same as for regular card payments. Svea Payments is responsible for ensuring a secure and reliable payment experience on Suomisport.
