The greatest benefits: membership fees and tracking participation

Union Plaani has used Suomisport for more than three years. In the club’s daily operations, its most important role relates to the management of membership and seasonal fees. Executive Director Sami Karvonen emphasizes how easy it is to monitor financial flows through the platform.

– Through Suomisport we can stay up to date with our payments. If we count our players and their guardians together, Suomisport touches the activities of roughly 1,000 people in our club. Now we can see our membership fee status all in one place, Karvonen summarizes.

The club’s teams and groups actively use Suomisport’s training and event calendars. Practice registrations are widely in use — not only making coaches’ work easier, but also providing valuable information for the club. In addition, Union Plaani runs its summer camps through Suomisport’s event management tools.

Reporting supports decisions and development

Suomisport’s reporting features are actively used at Union Plaani. The reports help track the annual development of seasonal fees, participation and activity rates, as well as the number of volunteers working within the club.

Reporting has also proven valuable beyond the club itself. During a joint project with the City of Heinola to improve sports facilities, Karvonen was able to provide data from Suomisport on the club’s activity and participation figures.
